Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Louise Seiersen will be held at a later date. George Funeral Home & Cremation Center is assisting the family. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC, 29210. Mrs. Seiersen, 84, of Aiken, died Sunday, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born in Carlisle, PA, she was the daughter of the late Carlton K. and Mildred Johnson Stutenroth. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, and Aiken County Shrine Club. She retired after twenty five years with United Insurance Co. Martha was active in the Aiken Community Play House. She loved to read and exercise. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William Seiersen, and sister, Betty Kopp. She is survived by her son, Eric Seiersen, Aiken; daughter, Melody Clayton Chriswell, Conway, SC; brothers, Allen Stutenroth, Eugen Stutenroth, grandchildren, Ricki Kelly, Tessa Cartwright , Erin Chriswell , Dallas Chriswell, great grandchildren, K.C. Cartwright, and Gage Martin.
