What a beautiful, brave lady Martha was! She was always ready to chat with us when we visited at Trinity Lutheran Homes. She will not be forgotten.

As members of Aiken County Shrine Club we got to know Martha and her late husband Bill quite well. We had great times together at the Shrine Club. Those memories are precious

I remember Martha as a vibrant individual. She was always full of life and smiling. Martha also was a determined individual. Whether modeling for White`s, working at United Insurance or shopping downtown, she was always smiling and looking for adventure. I will always remember her zooming down Laurens St with her wheelchair pennant whipping in the wind as she smiled and waved to everyone. My condolences to both Ric and Melody and their families. Ernie

I don't know what to write in these things...Martha is my father's mother, my grandmother. She taught me the macarana, the grape vine, and the electric slide. She was the hippest lady I knew! Granny was a gorgeous, beautiful woman, inside and out. Everyone loved her wherever she went, and she could light up a room with her smile. I remember growing up in theatre knowing Granny was an amazing actress, and hearing stories of how great she was. I am extremely thankful to have such an exquisite soul be apart of my life. Granny will be in my heart forever. She has shaped me to be the person I am today and I truly hope I make her proud. My favorite memory is when she was telling Adam and I how she met my grandpa. It was the last time I saw her, about two years ago. I am sorry for not being home for my dad during this time. Martha raised a wonderful man, that I'm proud to call my Dad.
