I remember one time when Aiken had an ice storm and my family and I went to Uncle Paul's because we didn't have electricity. I believe that we were going to borrow their camp stove. They had it stored outside .When they brought it in and set it down we found out that it had a mouse in it. The mouse ran out, looking for another place to hide. I was standing nearby, so the mouse started up the inside of my pant leg. Uncle Paul slapped both hands around my knee, preventing the mouse from going any higher.
