I will miss Mrs. McCall so very, very much! She had a quiet but firm way of being a Christian that made even children stand up and notice. I loved being in her Sunday school class as a child for so many years. May the family take peace in knowing that she did leave behind so much good for God and that she will be sorely missed. I have very fond memories of Miss Ethel making her wonderful biscuits and cooking for the children at the North Aiken Baptist Church Daycare and School where we worked together years ago. She will be remembered with a smile.
I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. McCall was like a grandmother to me too. She was a very strong Christian lady who exemplified her faith. I am so honored that I knew her my whole life. She will be greatly missed. I can still see her sitting in her spot on the pew at Clear Water Branch Baptist. I know for sure I'll see her again thanks to Jesus! So very sorry about your mother she was always such a good caring person. I remember visiting her many times when I was young and lived close by and also at church, she was a great christian lady.
