Obituary of Milton Norman Brown

Mr. Milton Norman Brown, 80, of Aiken, SC, passed away at Aiken Regional Medical Centers on February 25, 2011. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Help of Christians Church on Thursday, March 3, 2011, at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place at a later date in Florida. GEORGE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Brown was born on April 17, 1930 in Newark, NJ. He was a graduate of Madison High School and was an Army Veteran serving in the Korean War. After leaving the military, he worked in Verona, NJ, for Killion Extruders, Inc. as a plant manager. Norm later managed the Florida division of the business and upon Mr. Killion's death in 1974, Norm bought half interest in Killion Extruders. In the 1980s, he sold the business to a British company and retired to Hilton Head, SC. In 2002, he and his wife Rita moved to Aiken. He was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Church and a longtime supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
Norm was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years Rita Nancy Cerio Brown and his parents Kay and Hilda Brown.
Survivors include his cousin Joan Brown Borgstrom Einar of Aiken, SC, his brother-in-law Robert Gerraty Priscilla of NJ, and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by cousins in Vienna, Austria and Aahrus, Denmark.
