Mr. Brown and my Grandfather, Fred Killion, worked together at Killion Extruders when I was a little boy. I remember Mr. Brown as a kind man. My Grandfather always spoke highly of him. We stopped by Mr. Brown's shop when we were in Florida.
My daughter is melting plastic today as part of a 3rd grade science project. I think that Pop and Mr. Brown would be happy. They melted a heck of a lot of plastic together.
I have not talked with Mr. Brown for years, but I will never forget him.

To Norman's Family and Friends,
I was so sorry to learn of Norman's passing. I knew he had been in frail health, but had not seen him in a couple of years. He would call me occasionally about his latest computer problem, and we would talk about it and I would suggest something to try, and that would usually solve his immediate problem.
He had called me last October, and we chatted awhile, and at that time he was so pleased, and yet frustrated, with his new dog.
Norman was a delightful person, innately sharp, and I found him to be a really nice and interesting person. He had a genuine interest in people , and I will miss him, and I know all his friends will, too.
Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss.

I've known Norm Brown for 35 years. I first met him when I joined Killion Extruders. Norm was a great guy to work with; very knowledgeable and very supportive. At Killion, we traveled together on business many times throughout the USA, and also the world including, Mexico, England, Russia, Germany, Austria and Italy. We became very close friends over the years, and I came to know him as a kind and generous man, especially to children in need. In recent years, we have kept in touch regularly by email, phone, and an occasional visit. I will indeed miss him.

I met Norm 51 years ago when I went to work at Killion Extruders. We worked together for years and we kept in touch after Norm retired. Although we didn't speak often, when we did it was like it was yesterday. Norm and Rita and I had many good times together. They took me to my first time at the track many years ago. One funny memory I have of them was when my sister-in-law and I visited them and their dog chewed off the bottom of my jeans. As we were talking I didn't realize he was chewing them but when I got up and saw what he did we were all hysterical laughing. I will miss Norm but they will now be together again. Our sympathy to all his friends and family and all who knew him.

The loss of my friend has brought a deep sadness to me upon learning of his death. Norman's kindness and happy spirit will long be remembered, and his absence shall be felt by all who knew him. Hillside NJ, Madison High School, and Austria were our connecting threads. My deepest sympathy goes out to his dear friends, his family, and his loving and devoted companion... his dog, Scout. Norm and I were partners in owning and managing Killion Extruders for many years. I could not have wished for a better partner or a better person. Because Norm was a few years older I viewed him in many ways as a real mentor during the early stages of our friendship. Norm was just a very high quality person who cared a great deal for the people close to him. He will be missed.
