Mr. John M. Blake Sales and Management Consultant Aiken, SC-A memorial service for Mr. John M. Blake will be held Saturday, April 27, 2002 at 1 PM at South Aiken Presbyterian Church, Aiken, SC, with Rev. John Frye officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 27, 2002 from 12:30 until 1 PM and following the service at the church. Mr. Blake, 60, of Aiken, SC, husband of Mrs. Linda K. Lawson Blake, died Wednesday, morning, April 24, 2002 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born in Toledo, OH, son of the late Carl M. and Doris I. Poole Blake, Mr. Blake had been a resident of Littleton, CO, for twenty-years before coming to Aiken seven years ago. Mr. Blake received his Masters in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University, OH, and was a Sales and Management Consultant. He proudly served his country in The United States Army. In addition to his wife of thirty-nine years, Linda K. Lawson Blake, son, Ron M. Blake, Tifton, GA; daughter, Laura L. Blake Dellinger, VA; grandson, Anthony Blake, and granddaughters, Rachel Blake, Ashley Smith, Whitney Blake, Brittany Blake, and Harley Jayne Blake, survive Mr. Blake. The family has requested that flowers are omitted and memorials are made to The Family of John M. Blake, for the Education of Anthony and Rachel.
