We were so sad to hear about Joan's death. She was always a sweet "grandmother" to all the children in the neighborhood. Every holiday, she would thrill the kids with gifts and candy. We will all miss her. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

We remember most fondly the last time we played doubles before Alan could no longer play tennis spent in your company. A very happy time. Marge remembers many happy tennis games in the Tuesday group with Joan. We are sorry a Doctor\'s appointment in Augusta precludes our attending the service. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time.
