Funeral services for Mr. Carl Wilson Cole will be Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at 9 am at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Avenue, SW with Dr. Rev. W. C. Lowe officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Columbia, SC at 11:30am. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, February 6, 2006 from 6 ? 8pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to Alzheimer?s Association, c/o Council on Aging, PO Box 3156, Aiken, SC, 29802 Mr. Cole, 77, of Sorrento, died Friday, February 3, 2006 at Bayview Center, Eustis, FL. Mr. Cole was born in Langley, SC to the late Henry and Maude Padgett Cole. He lived in Aiken most of his life before moving to Florida in 2004. Mr. Cole retired from Westinghouse after forty seven years of service. He was an avid golfer and he loved to watch the Gamecocks. Mr. Cole was predeceased by his wife Mary Elizabeth Edmund Cole. He is survived by his son, Carl Wayne Cole, Montgomery, Al; daughter, Beverly Walker, Aiken; step ? son, Blaine McCormick, Sorrento; step ? daughter Marsha Daniel, Aiken; grandchildren, Jamie Ansett, Molly Bennett, Allison Cole, Landon Cole, Daniel Cowden, Will Daniel, Blaine Daniel; and great grandchild C-Jay Cowden.
