Funeral services for Mrs. Andrea Farley Johnsey Ridge will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 11am at South Aiken Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Park, Laurens, SC, at 3:30 PM. The family will receive friends tonight Wednesday from 7-9PM at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC. Mrs. Ridge, 62, of Aiken, died Monday, April 19, 2010 at University Hospital, Augusta. Born in Laurens, SC, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Hubert Johnsey and Mary Farley Todd Johnsey. She lived in Laurens, SC, Homosassa, FL, before moving to Aiken in 1985. She was a retired supervisor with the SC Department of Social Services. She was a very active member at South Aiken Presbyterian Church, where she was on the Stewardship Committee, Kids First Committee, and the Sojrurner Truth Circle. Andrea enjoyed reading, collecting lighthouses, and collecting antiques. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Warren Ridge in 2005, and her sister, Mary Elizabeth Chandler. She is survived by her sons, Andrew Ridge, Inman, SC; Justin Ridge, Aiken, SC; sister, Sarah Keith Johnsey Smeal, a number of nieces and nephews, including Beth Chandler, Joseph H.
