A memorial service for Mr. David Alan ?Dave? Zupka will be held Thursday, June 9, 2005 at 6 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC, with Rev. Dr. W.C. Lowe officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in the Park Cemetery Association, Canton, PA. The family will greet friends following the service until 7 PM at the funeral home. Dave, 59, of Aiken, SC, died suddenly, Monday, morning, June 6, 2005 at his home. Born in New Haven, CT, he retired from Southern New England Telephone as Marketing Manager in 1999. Dave came to Aiken, SC, from Woodbury, CT in April of 2001. He enjoyed a round of golf or fishing for anything from Northern Pike in Canada to Stripers on Lake Thurmond. He is survived by his wife, Alice Taylor Kinnear, and parents, Victor and Ann Catherine Chalitco Zupka, Sun City, FL.
