Aiken, SC-Funeral services for Mr. Joseph F. ?Pops? Lahrman will be held Thursday, March 4, 2004 at 11 AM at Talatha Baptist Church with Rev. David Lester officiating. Visitation will be held tonight 6-8PM at George Funeral Homes, Southside Chapel. Pallbearers will be Randy Lahrman, Jr., Shawn Ogden, Sr., Dennis Frost, Anthony ?Smoke? Route, Joey Hadsall, and Bill Whittaker. Internment: Southlawn Cemetery, Aiken, SC. Mr. Lahrman, 74, husband of the late Mary Lahrman, died Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at the residence of his daughter. Born in Lafayette, IN, a son of the late Fred Joseph and Gleneva Lahrman, he had been a resident of Aiken, SC, since 1995. He was a member of Talatha Baptist Church where he a member of the Choir and the Senior Adult Sunday School Class. He retired from the Springfield, OH, Water System. He served his country in the US Army. Survivors include his son, Randy A Missy Lahrman, Sr., Aiken, daughters, Rhonda A. Joe Hadsall, Aiken, Melinda Harp, Aiken, brother, Freddie Lahrman, Tucson, AR, sister, Julia Gundolf, Chandler, AR, ten grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the America Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
