Meta G. Daugherty, 86, of, Aiken, SC, passed away Friday, February 20, 2004, after a lengthy illness. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Sunday February 22, 2004 at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave. SW, Aiken, SC. Interment will be held in Beechwood Cemetery, Hulmeville, PA. Mrs. Daugherty, formerly of Langhorne PA, had been a resident of Aiken for 23 years. Mrs. Daugherty is survived by two sons, Carl and Brent, three grandchildren, Shawn, Brian and Jennifer, and 2 great grandchildren, Randy and Lily.
