AIKEN - Services for Jane Reese Toole, 56, will be held at 1 p.m.
Saturday, March 3, 2001, at Grace Brethren Church with Dr. Steve Taylor
officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery, Aiken. Visitation
will be 6-8 this evening at George Funeral Home, Southside Chapel, 3175
Whiskey Rd., Aiken. Pallbearers will be Neil Reese, Jerry McCarty, Tommy
Evans, Michael Anderson, Robin Widener, Raiford Widener, Wayne Barron, Tim
Reese and Elvin Charles "Pete" Widener. Memorial donations may be directed
to Grace Brethern Church Youth Fund, St. Joseph Hospice, or the Women's
Center at University Hospital, Augusta.
Mrs. Toole, wife of William R. Toole, died Wednesday evening,
February 28, 2001, in St. Joseph Hospital, Augusta. Born in Aiken, she was a
daughter of Howard F. and Emily M. Widener Reese. She lived most of her life
in Aiken and was a member of Grace Brethern Church. She was a production planner with Kimberly Clark and president of Kimberly Clark Activities (KCA) for a few years. Mrs. Toole enjoyed
sewing, gardening, making wedding cakes and watersports, especially boating.
Surviving are her husband of Aiken; son, Shannon Toole of Aiken;
daughter, Sharon T. Burroughs of Aiken; parents of Oakwood; brothers,
Johnny H. Reese of Barnwell, Dean A. Reese of Aiken; sisters, Sybil R.
Graham of North Augusta, Carolina R. Evans of Aiken; granddaughter, Lauren
Burroughs.
