Natalie and I were classmates at Chestnut Street Elementary school and also at Garfield Junior High. She inspired me to study music when all our other classmates made fun of me. On a very sad day in our sophomore year I had to say goodbye to sweet Nat. We kissed and hugged in the hallway outside Ms. Azar's science class. We moved to Ohio and I am sorry to say lost touch. I can still hear her sobs as I walked away and I sob for her now. Rest In Peace sweet Natalie!

I was back in Johnstown to attend a funeral of a friend. My husband, George, happened to read Natalie's obituary in the paper. You can't help but smile when you hear the name, Natalie Krentz. You can't help but hear her singing solos in the JHS chorus and you can't help but see her in that blue and black cheerleader outfit jumping and smiling. You couldn't help but be happy when you were around Natalie.

Elaine,Al and Jen,
We are saddened to hear of the loss of Natalie. I worked with Nat at HGA. I remember my first variety show APRIL FOOL FOLLIES I keep telling Nat that I was surely having a heart attack. Then there was the time we took our goat up decked in party hat and ballons to celebrate Nat birthday. We had
some great times and I will treasure those memories.
Again we are so sorry for your loss

Elaine and Family,
I was so shocked to learn of Natalie's passing. Someone so full of life, happiness and love. I knew her since Garfield and we met in chorus. She had a voice of an angel! Now she will be able to share that with all. Over the years, we had so many great times as friends, just hanging out together and all the fun rememberances will forever be in my heart. It's always sad to lose track of friends only to find them after death.
My deepest sympathy to your family and just knowing Natalie will be my gift from God.

My brother called me this a.m. from Johnstown to let me know the sorrowful news about Natalie. My husband, Bryan, and I knew Natalie from the Garfield days, cheerleading and the pleasure of having her in our wedding. I was unsuccessful after many efforts to reconnect with Natalie after we moved to Cleveland but we will always remember how she approached life with a laugh--many memories at your house, Elaine, as well as memories of your Mom and Dad. Our sincere condolences to your family especially your daughter who was the "light of Natalie's life"! Please keep me posted about the future services as I may make a trip if possible.

Dear Elaine, Al & Jen ~
My heart was saddened to hear of Nat's passing. I will always remember the "GREAT" times we shared working at HGAC, and judging the the Art shows for your Mom at "Turners". Nat was always able to turn the "Lemons of Life" into "Lemonade", with her quick wit,and robust personality!! She embraced life with so much passion, and always held her family closest to her heart. May all the wonderful memories that you have, bring you comfort and peace during these difficult times.
May God Bless and Keep you!!

I was shocked when I read the newspaper this morning.
I worked with Natalie many years
ago and always enjoyed her sense
of humor. I especially was fond
of when my mom volunteered in the
Rec Hall how well Natalie treated
her. I will always be grateful
for her kindess. My thoughts and
prayers are with you all.

I want to express my sympathy to Natalie's family. I remember her from the days when I worked at the H.G. Andrews Center known then only as the Pennsylvania Rehabilitation Center PRC, back in the early '70's.
I suppose my surprise in seeing her name in the obituary column is that my memory of her is of her liveliness and vitality...and the fact that she was younger than me. But, for all of us, mortality must catch up with us eventually.
I have warm memories of Natalie, of her friendliness and her willingness to help those who needed it. May she rest in peace.
"Rest eternal grant her, O Lord. And let light perpetual shine upon her."
