Memorial services for Mr. Billy Leon Sanders will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 2pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1pm until the hour of service. Memorial contributions may be directed to Spring Branch Baptist Church. Mr. Sanders, 65, of Aiken, Died Sunday, March 8, 2009 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. He was the son of the late Joseph Leon and Florence Johnson Sanders. He moved to Aiken County in 1970. He attended Spring Branch Baptist Church. He loved fishing, watching western movies, and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Peggy McClung, Margie Jacobs. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Rearden Sanders, son, Billy Joe Sanders, New Ellenton; daughters, Lisa Herman Sanders-Hall, Windsor; Rebecca Hite, Aiken; brothers, Lynn Sanders, Jerry Sanders, Richard Johns, sisters, Lila Mae Key, Barbara Couch, Brenda Napier, Betty Sanders, Francis Kelly, grandchildren, Lee Skipper, John Skipper, Vicky Boylen, Shyanne Hite, great grandchildren, Brett Skipper, James Skipper, and Jeremy Skipper.
