Funeral services for Mrs. Melody Lisa Vause will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2008 at 11am at Town Creek Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Town Creek Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight Monday from 6-8pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken. Mrs. Vause, 44, of Warrenville, died Friday, May 31, 2008 at her residence. A lifelong resident of Aiken County, she was the daughter of Vivian Crosby Jolly and the late Malcolm D. Jolly, Sr. Lisa was a very creative, caring, outgoing, and optimistic person. She loved to sing, dance, grow flowers, decorate and cook. She enjoyed the simple things in life and was always willing to take on any task. She was a member and caterer of the Ladies Support Group of the James L. Hammond Marine Corps League, and owned Liberty Security with her husband. In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Jim Vause, daughter, Tiffany McGee, Warrenville; sons, Ryan Nicole Jolly, Warrenville; Clay Vause, Ben Vause, Nick Vause, Chris Vause, all of Aiken; sister, Carol Danny Almond, Aiken; brother, Dean Jolly, Aiken; nieces, Stephanie Eric Jolly, Doraville, GA; Crystal David Garvin, Beech Island, and her first grandchild Ms. Ava Jolly due in August.
