Obituary of William Warnock Molony

A Requiem Mass for William "Billy" Warnock Molony, Jr., 76, of Aiken, will be celebrated on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, from 6-8 pm at GEORGE FUNERAL HOME and at other times at the residence. Memorial donations may be made to the Capital Campaign Fund at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, PO Box 438, Aiken, SC, 29802 or to the Aiken County Clemson Club Scholarship Fund, PO Box 5129, Aiken, SC 29804. Mr. Molony, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2014 at his residence. A son of the late Dr. William Warnock Molony, II and Joyce Pepper Molony, he was a lifetime resident of Aiken. Billy attended Clemson University and was a member of the Clemson University Football Team. He was a communicant of St. Mary's, and member of the Aiken Jaycees, Knights of Columbus and the Aiken County Clemson Club. He was a retired salesman with Aiken Produce with over 40 years of service. He was preceded in death by a sister, Betsy Molony and a brother, Johnny Molony. Survivors include his loving wife, Boo Molony; a daughter, Mary Beth Fields (Todd) of Aiken; sons, Billy Molony of Aiken and Tommy Molony and his fiancé, Kristen Mans both of Macon, Georgia; 3 grandchildren, Tate Molony, Patrick & Will Fields, all of Aiken; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Fred and Ginny Asbra of Maryland and 2 nephews, Jim & Pat Asbra, both of Maryland.
