Funeral services for Mr. Doil Leon ?Bud? Kohler will be held Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at 6 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC, with Pastor Randy Knight officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 25, 2004 from 4PM until service time at the funeral home. Bud, 39, of Aiken, SC, husband of Julie St. Clair Kohler, died Saturday, evening, May 22, 2004 at his home. Born in Alton, IL, a son of Joy Masiero Kohler, Bethalto, IL and the late Leon Malcolm Kohler, he had been a resident of IL, before coming to Aiken four years ago. Prior to his health declining, he was an Ophthalmic Technician with the Center for Sight. Bud attended His Way Community CHurch. He was also enjoyed riding motorcycles, dart throwing, boating and fishing. In addition to his wife and mother, children, Casey Kohler, Kari Miller, Katie Rowane, Kaila Kohler, Danielle Kohler, and Allen Rhodes, all of Aiken, SC; sisters, Deb Kohler Grantham and her husband, R. Lee Grantham, M.D., Aiken, SC and Tanja Kohler, Phoenix, AZ, survive. At the request of the family please make memorials in Bud?s memory to Julie St. Clair Kohler. Donations will be used to setup a fund to further the educations of the children.
