Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl L. Franke will be on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 11am at St. John Lutheran Church, Janesville, WI with Rev. Eddie Paape officiating. Burial will follow at Milton Lawns Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 until the time of the service. Mrs. Franke, 82, of Janesville, WI, died Sunday, July 19, 2009 at the home of her son in Aiken.
She was born in Peevley, MO on January 19, 1927, the daughter of Howard & Drucilla Derricson Logsdon. Pearl married Howard G. Franke on January 17, 1948 in Milwaukee, WI. She had been employed by McLean Jewelry, was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and enjoyed bowling, playing cards, quilting and watching the Green Bay Packers.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband who died on April 16, 1984, two brothers, Paul & Roy Logsdon and a sister, Violet Weber.
She is survived by her two children, Lisa Brian Anderson, McHenry, IL and Todd Pam Franke, Aiken, SC; six grandchildren: Christopher Amanda Anderson, Melody Anderson, Josh Richardson, Ashley Franke, Lindsey Joseph Daugherty and Nicole Franke; five great grandchildren: Cole Kamrynn, Abigail, Alexis and Kaylee, who is due next week; three brothers: Duke Barb Logsdon, Meade, CO, David Marion Logsdon, Peevley, MO and Randall Jennie Logsdon, Bethel, OH; and a sister, June Charles Gulat, Jacksonville, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other friends and relatives.
