Mr. Hallman, 76, of Aiken, died Tuesday at the Heartland Hospice in Augusta. Mr. Hallman, better known to his friends as P.L., was born in Newton North Carolina, son of the late, David A. and Iva Bolden Hallman. Mr. Hallman was retired from the Savannah River Site as a sheet metal engineer. He was predeceased by his wife Joette Hallman, in 2005. Mr. Hallman was a Baptist. Mr. Hallman is survived by three sons, Johnnie Judy Hallman, Greenville, SC., Rick Wendy Hallman, Aiken and Daniel Hallman, Aiken..
