A memorial service for Mrs. Eleanor Jeanette Cole will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2724 Whiskey Rd. Aiken with Rev. Rodney Powell officiating. A reception will follow at the Woodside Plantation Country Club. Interment will be with her late husband, E. G. Donald Cole at Beaufort National Cemetery. Mrs. Cole, 90, of Aiken, died Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at Eden Gardens. She was born in Port Chester, NY and had lived in Floral Park, NY before moving to Aiken in 1998. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She is pre-deceased by her husband, E. G. Donald Cole, who died on September 5, 2005. Mrs. Cole is survived by a daughter, Virginia A. and George Castles, Aiken, a son; Robert D. and Wilda Cole, Floral Park, NY, two granddaughters, Martha Castles, Aiken and Marlene Cole, Floral Park, NY, two grandsons; Jeffrey Cole, Floral Park, NY and Eric Castles, New York, NY a sister; Charlotte Schulze, St. Petersburg, FL, and sister in law and brother in law Muriel & Frank Van Auken, Greenville, SC. She is also survived by two sisters in law; Barbara Cole, Aiken and Eileen and Frank Hubp, San Antonio TX.
