Born in Olean, NY, September 20, 1924, he was the son of the late Harry William Wright, Sr. and Ellen Ekdahl Wright. He was predeceased by his only son, William Mark Wright of Auburn, NY.
He served as a medic in the U. S. Army in World War II stationed in Germany. He dedicated forty-one years serving the public in Endwell, NY at the "Home of Harry Wright's Service" where his motto was "You Can't Go Wrong With Wright". He was an accomplished bowler and a scratch golfer, having earned many Club Championships in the Binghamton, NY area as well as Aiken, SC.

Moyle and husband, Joe, of Littleton, CO and Heather O. Kandawire and husband, Afwa, of Tokyo, Japan, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Life for Harry was complete with many lush green fairways, some challenging holes and a few sand traps along the way. He was never satisfied with "par" but rather strived to "birdie" or "eagle" his way through life. He's probably at the 19th hole enjoying a Manhattan on the rocks.
