Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. John T. Brennan will be celebrated Monday, June 27, 2005 at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, Gloverville, SC, with Father John Lawlor celebrant. Private interment will be held at a later date in Sunset Memory Gardens. Friends are invited to join the family at the residence following the Mass. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 26, 2005 from 6 until 8 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC. Mr. Brennan, 84, of Graniteville, SC, died Thursday, morning, June 23, 2005. Born in Chicago, IL, a son of the late Thomas and Margaret Maloney Brennan, Tod had been a resident of Graniteville, SC, since 1976 where he was a member of Midland Valley Country Club. He enjoyed a round of golf, playing the organ, reading, and was a big fan of opera music. A World War II veteran, Tod proudly served his country in the United Stated Navy. He retired from TRW as a Product Development Manager after forty-two years of service. He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Mitzi Turk Brennan, a son, Timothy Brennan, Carol Carlsbad, CA; daughters, Kathleen Galloy, Gerald Johnston, SC and Linda Walinski, Timothy Travelers Rest, SC; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, P.O. Box 419, Gloverville, SC 29851
