Suzanne Conrad Hulligan, of Aiken, South Carolina, passed away on March 9, 2013. Suzanne was born in Lakewood, Ohio, graduated from Lakewood High School and continued her education at Lake Erie College. Suzanne worked as a homemaker and in her later years was an accomplished artist in Aiken, South Carolina. She enjoyed home decorating, knitting, sewing and other crafts, as well as playing bridge and swimming. She had a fondness for animals and a great love for her dogs, Dixie and Maggie. She had also been a member of Houndslake Country Club and a student artist at the University of South Carolina. In addition to her parents, Suzanne is preceded in death by her first husband, James Audley Pfaff and her second husband, Weldon Allen Hulligan, her father, Edward George Conrad, her mother, Helen Cosley Conrad and her older brother, John Conrad. Suzanne is survived by her brother, George Conrad; her children, Timothy Pfaff, Thomas Pfaff, Carolyn Judice, James A. Pfaff, Jr., and Suzanne Kennedy; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, and other family members. At the request of Mrs. Hulligan, no service will be held.
