I am very sorry to learn of your husband and father's passing .
Although many years have passed , I always remember Jack as being a very kind, gentle and thoughtful person . You must all have many happy memories of your lives together .
I met Jack and your mother Phyliss first in Mexico City and then was in Panama when they lived there. I still have the pottery frog your mother made in my kitchen.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time .

We were so saddened to learn of Uncle Jack's passing. I have many fond memories of family visits to WV. He took me to Glenville to take my college entrance exams, we talked about everything!! Uncle Jack was always very calm....had such a dry wit about him....we always enjoyed his Christmas letters!! Know that we keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers....asking God to sustain you and comfort you during this time!
Our Love, Ed & Vicki Meisterhans

I guess we started out together in Webster Springs Elementary School.
I have a picture of our 5th grade class with Mrs. Frankie Marsh Shoemaker as our teacher in front of the School.
He and brother Bob left for service in WWII.
Our families grew up with the Woodsells.
May God bless and sustain you in your grief.
Sincerely, Betty Smith Whitley, Betty Mace Morton, Patty Smith Canfield

We were so saddened to hear of the passing of Jack. Mom had mentioned the last time that she had spoken with Uncle Jack that he seemed to not be himself. I have good memories of him and of playing with all three of you girls
"down on the farm" when you would be in WV for a summer visit. Miss all of you, and please know that you are in our prayers. Love Cathy

My dad was named after his dad. My grandfather Cochran's middle name was Jackson. I am glad he lived such a long life. I know it is never easy to lose someone you love. I remember him as a very fine man and was proud to be a part of his family. I lost my dad in 2005 and I know it is not an easy time. Try to rely on the Lord for strength to get you through. God bless each of you today and always.
