Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Louise Miller will be held on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 2pm at Highland Pine Baptist Church, 1530 Hampton Ave. Aiken. Interment will follow at Mt. Ebal Baptist Church Cemetery, Wire Rd. Batesburg, SC. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday afternoon from 1pm until the time of the service. GEORGE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, Aiken, is assisting the family. Mrs. Miller, 89, of Aiken, died Friday, November 30, 2012 at Pepper Hill Nursing Center, Aiken. A daughter of the late Robert L. Screws and Esther A. Watkins Screws, she was born in Jefferson County, GA and had lived in Aiken since 1957. She was a member of Highland Pines Baptist Church and participated in the Women's Mission and Adult Sunday School programs. Mary was a retired sales supervisor at the McCrory's Department Store. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two husbands, Warren Miller and John M. Boatwright; a brother, Emery Screws and four sisters, Mildred Screws, Bobbie Jean Screws, Helen Morrison and Mary Lois Davis. She is survived by three brothers, Robert K. Neoma Screws, Graniteville, Charles Wade Tammy Screws, Graniteville and Otis Edgelle Screws, Waynesboro, GA; a step-son, Robert A. Miller and family of Aiken and many nieces and nephews that loved her very much.
