Obituary of Henry Donald Couch

Funeral Services for Mr. Henry Donald Couch will be held on Monday November 6, 2006 at 10am at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken with Rev. Taylor Wells officiating. Interment, with Military Honors, will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 6-8pm.
Mr. Couch, 59, of Aiken, died suddenly on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at University Hospital in Augusta, GA.
A son of Gladys K. Moyer Couch and the late Alexander B. Couch, he was born in Aiken and then, as a young boy, moved to Boston, MA where he lived before returning home in 1996. Henry was a CAT Scan technician at Lexington Medical Center, Irmo. He was a member of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and had been a good friend of Bill W. for over twenty-four years. A veteran of the Viet Nam conflict, he served in the United States Air Force.
In addition to his father, he was pre-deceased by three brothers, Walter, Ransom and Haskel. Mr. Couch is survived by his wife, Eunice Curtis Couch, Aiken; two sons, Dana Couch, Missouri and Gary Couch, Aiken; two daughters, Kelly Couch, Aiken and Danelle Couch Odum, Aiken; his mother, Gladys Couch, Aiken; three sisters, Etrulia Askew, Boston, MA, Jane Williamson, Aiken and Barbara Olson, Aiken and one brother, Walter Couch, Revere, MA. Mr. Couch is also survived by four grandchildren.
