I read the entries from Gary, Sandy and Shawna and it made me smile. I couldn't have said it any better than they did. What wonderful memories we all have and what a wonderful person Grandma was. I was very lucky as Grandma was the one that was there when I gave birth to Kenny. She was the one who gave him his bath's until I felt confortable enough to start doing it by myself and for the first couple of months, he'd take his afternoon naps on Grandma & Grandpa's bed. This memory is most precious to me. We'll miss you Grandma. Give Grandpa a kiss for me. We love you.

Fay, we are going to miss your laughter, your sense of humor, and the wonderful way you could use those four letter words to get your point across. We know that you are in a better place, but we are still so sad with your passing. Bring peace to your family and let them thank God every day that they had you for a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a great great grandmother. We will all miss you and we will remember you always in out hearts.

To my family in South Carolina, how can I thank you enough for all you've done since Mom left California? I'm, so happy to be gettig her back here to be with Dad, he's been waiting a long time. Now they won;t be so lonely.
Puzzles and Bingo will never be the same without her. And Thanksgiving dinners, everyone was always welcome, and "dammit, you better put some gray on it".
What a specail lady. She may have been confused but it never took the song out of her heart. We sang "Went to the restuarant to get soemthin' to eat, I was starved from my head to my feat..." just a cople of day ago on the telephone and she never missed s word or beat!!. Well, we're gonna sing her right up to the Lord so she can start singin' again.

After reading my cousin Gary's entry, I thought it would be nice to state the 10 things I remembered about Grandma that were different from his.
1. Loved to watch "The Price is Right" every day. Favorite game: Blinko
2. Could judge someone's character only moments after meeting them. If she liked you, you were accepted as part of the family, if not..Watch out.
3. Her saying numerous times "For crying out loud Harold".
4. Cussing while watching the news each evening.
5. Playing cards with Grandpa at the bar most evenings.
6. Warning us about getting in trouble for parking in the street in the trailer park.
7. All the Thanksgivings we had at her house.
8. Spending the night at her house and combing the hairspray out of her hair.
9. She always kept a box of toys in her bedroom closet for us to play with.
10. How she always moved the towels from the bottom to the top of the stack when she put up the newly washed ones which I do now.

The top 10 list of things I will always remember about Grandma:
10:The little rhymes, riddles, and sayings she repeated when we were young.
9: Always a master BINGO Player
8: Taking her mail to her each day on 13th Avenue after school.
7:Driving down and yanking Tommy out of bed when he refused to go to school in Cucamonga.
6:Her utter disdain for rock stars, celebrities, etc. "He looks like an A$$!"... or "What in the hell is wrong with them?"
5:Doing puzzles on the little table in Alta Loma looking for an "arrow","edge", or some other piece.
4.Painting her Toyota with a brush.
3.Her treasured family picture collection.
2. The amazing legacy of Western Pioneers she handed to each family member.
1. Even in the face of adversity such as her Alzheimers Disease, she was always cheerful and easy going.
