I was very sadden to learn of Betty's passing away. She was truly the epitome of a lady who was most gracious and lovely in every way. She was an avid member of The American Association of University Women where I was closely associated with her. Please accept my deepest and most sincere condolences

We'll truly miss Mrs.Girdler. She was the ultimate "lady", and such a wonderful lifemate for Bob. They often came into our men's clothing store and Bob and I would talk about his flying, and his love of flying. Betty was always so supportive and would encourage Bob to buy more, but he was very conservative and bought primarily based on "need". Betty always made sure that Bob was dressed like a gentleman. We miss Bob, and now will miss the wonderful connection to him. Betty was just wonderful. We'll miss her presence in Aiken.
