Born in Dayton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Marie Bureschen Hickey. She move to Aiken in 1970 from St. Louis, MO and was a homemaker. Janet liked to collect candles, salt and pepper shakers. She is survived by her husband of forty eight years, Noah Phelps and numerous cousins.
