Funeral services for Ruby Richardson Dedmon, 91, of Aiken, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Redds Branch Baptist Church. Officiating will be Pastor Mark Watford. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The grandsons and great-grandsons will be Pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at GEORGE FUNERAL HOME. Mrs. Dedmon, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2015 at Pepper Hill Nursing Home. A native of Aiken, Ruby was a daughter of the late Lonnie and Evelyn Richardson. She was retired from Aiken County Public Schools. She was a member of Redds Branch Baptist Church where she was a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class, the Choir and the 50 uppers. She was the Librarian for many years and worked with WMU, GA's and Acteens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded In death by her sisters, Glady Willis, Eleanor Duncan, Christine Seigler, Judy Stevenson and Annie Richardson. Survivors include: sons, William "Bill" Dedmon (Joyce) of Aiken and Stanley E. Dedmon (Gail) of Lexington; a daughter, Linda D. Cook (James) of Aiken; 5 grandchildren, Frank E. Dedmon, Christopher Dedmon, Robbie Dedmon (Janet) and Ryan Cook (Brandi) and 6 great-grandchildren, Bryson Dedmon, Sean Dedmon, Chris Duran, Lori Duran, Jackson Duran and Marli Cook.
