I am very sorry for your loss. This past year has been a long one for each of you. I am missing "Mr. Tom" and of course, his sweetheart, Margaret Mary.
They were the best neighbors I could have had. And you all were wonderful to them. Your love for them was truly evident. May our good Lord continue to comfort you and strengthen you.

We were so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. Brought me back to Weirton and remembering all the get-togethers growing up. Never forget your house, family meals and the fun we had. Your father always put out the welcome mat for us. May he rest in peace with Margaret Mary.

Diane, I'm not sure you remember meI was your "big sister" for the short time you were at Mt. de Chantal. My mom and your dad were great friends and my husband Bill and I dearly loved your Uncle Jim. We're so sorry to hear of your loss - it is never easy. Know that you and the family are in our prayers. Would love to hear from you. Take care and God bless. Terry Russell Snyder

So much history has been lost with the death of Uncle Tom. That whole generation reunited in Heaven and, as Ralph said, the greatest generation. It is sad to think that after the deaths of Margaret and Agnes, just 6 and 5 years ago, that ended that generation of Walshes, that the death of Tom here ends the next.

Michelle, Diane, Patrick & John,
I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Tom. I absolutly loved that man. I'm sure it has been a long hard road for you but please know he is eternally happy with all those Walsh's and his soul mate, MM. Ironically, I watched my wedding video Monday night hadn't seen it in about ten yearsand he was on it. Seeing him on the video brought a combination of a smile, laughter and a few tears to me. For some reason, after watching the video, I couldn't get him off my mind. Little did I know he was completing his journey in this life while I was thinking of him. He left you with many stories and many memories. Find comfort in each other and know he is never far away.

Michelle, Patrick, Diane and John,
I am so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. How special it was spending time with him during his visit to Pittsburgh. As difficult as this is for all of you, hopefully, knowing that your Dad is with your Mom will give you peace. You have lovingly cared for your parents. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Love, Bev

Dear Michelle, Patrick, Diane and John, I was very sad to hear the news this morning from Diane. Not sad for Tom but for us left behind. I'm certain he's is very pleased to be with Aunt Margaret Mary and the rest of our family in his Heavenly reward. I'll be missing the opportunity to pick up the phone and chat with the "Greatest Generation." My hopes and prayers are that this will bring our generation closer together. The best is gone....Wouldn't it be great if we could gather again for a happy reunion? April 15th no longer reminds me of owing Uncle Sam, but owing my Uncle Tom & Aunt MM for the loving care they spread throughout our Walsh Clan. My prayers and thoughts are with you all. I wish I could be there to represent his Brother Jim. God Bless you all.

Dear Diane, Michelle, Patrick, and John, I don't even know where to begin. Uncle Tom lived a good long life and was a joy to be around. He could light up a room with his personality and smile. He is now where all of us hope to be -- his true home in heaven and with God. He is at peace now. Eye has not seen and hear has not heard what God has ready for those who love him. I'm sure what God has ready for him is completely incomprehensible to us. But, he is now at this moment reunited with his one true love, our dear Aunt Margaret Mary. What happiness he must be experiencing. Not to mention he is now with my dad, Bob, and oh what a happy day they must be having. God bless all of the family and we want to express our deepest condolences. He will be sorely missed. Love, Ann Marie and Ed
