Dick was a close friend of the Cedar Creek Men's Lunch Group and will be missed . We really enjoyed his company and great stories. Especially the Beluga whale version, only one of Dicks memorable life stories. A great companion.

When I first met Dick he was President of the Friends Board and I was the new and very nervous Gift Store Manager who had to speak at her first annual meeting. Dick was so kind and reassuring but no matter, I was shaking so hard my feet felt as though they were leaving the floor. Dick put a reassuring hand on my shoulder and I immediately calmed. That tradition continued on at each annual meeting for as long as he so willingly served. He has been and will continue to be missed. Peace and love to his wonderful wife Sharon and to his family. Dick loved his time spent at the museum and I enjoyed so much the many hours spent at the docent desk hearing his stories. It was such fun to see his face light up when children visited and he could talk with them. He was a big man in so many ways. Sharon and family members, my deepest condolences.

We will fondly remember Dick and his friendship. His service to his country in the Navy was very important to him and he had many interesting stories to tell about it. He loved to play cards and games with his friends-especially when he could beat us all at Mexican Train. Rest in peace , Dick and our condolences to Sharon.
Love, Mary Kay and Jerry
