AIKEN, SC- Larry W. McCormack, age 77, passed away at his home on Monday, March 16, 2015. He was born on October 1, 1937, in Butler, PA, to his parents, Kenneth and Ronalda McCormack, who moved to Toledo, Ohio, where Larry grew up. He was a gifted athlete who played basketball for Columbia (NYC) University as an undergraduate and then received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1962. Larry joined Fuller, Henry, and Hodge in Toledo and subsequently practiced corporate law for Owens-Illinois and Westinghouse. He moved to Aiken, SC, with Westinghouse/ SRS in 1989 where he worked in the General Counsel's Office. Larry is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary; his son, Ian McCormack (Angie) of Westerville, OH; his daughters, Katherine McCormack of Chicago, IL, and Halley Williams (Glenn) of Chicago, IL. He also leaves behind four grandchildren and one great grandson: Ian McCormack, Jr., and Ken McCormack of Westerville, OH; Aidan Williams and Abigail Williams of Chicago, IL; and Paxon McCormack of Westerville, OH. He gave them all his love and support throughout his life. A memorial service will be held at George Funeral Home on Friday, March 20, at 5:30.
