Memorial services for Michael Ashton Bassi will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 10am at First Christian Church, 900 Kerr Dr, Aiken. Mr. Bassi, 41, of Aiken, died Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers after a long illness. George Funeral Home & Cremation Center is assisting the family. A son of Charles L. Bassi and Ida M. Edwards Bassi, he was born in Portsmouth, VA and had lived in Northern VA before moving to Aiken in 2002. Michael was a computer analyst and had worked for Perrot Systems, AOL and CompUSA. He was a member of First Christian Church, Aiken. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, David Bassi, Georgetown, Washington, DC, a sister, Christine Haddox, Flatonia, TX and his beloved lab, Christy.
