Funeral services for Mr. Ronald Edward Reczek will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Bensenville, IL. Interment will take place in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken, with a wake service at 7:30. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210. Mr. Reczek, 64, of Aiken, died Monday, January 7. 2008 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born in Chicago, IL, he was the son of Virginia Zarnoski Reczek and the late Edward S. Reczek. He moved to Aiken in 2005 from Elmhurst, IL. He retired from Bank of America in international finance. He was a parishioner of St. Mary help of Christian Catholic Church. He had volunteered at ACTS for the last two years. He was a member of Carolina Star in Windsor, SC and past president of Maywood Sportsman Club. He loved trap shooting and hunting. He was a wonderful father and husband. He was predeceased by his father. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of forty years, Diane Ducret Reczek, sons, Scott Gabrielle Reczek, Lombard, IL, Marcus Reczek and fiancé, Dana Battles, Elburn, IL, daughter, Dawn John Firek, St Charles IL, sisters, Charlene DeGroot, Roxanne Buckley, Brother Wayne Reczek, grandchildren, Charles Reczek, Samuel Reczek, Mary Reczek, Kaitlynd Firek, and Kelsi Firek.
