To the family of Jeanne Rockwell, I only knew her for a short time. I was a student LPN and lived at the YWCA. While in training at Wilson our class worked on her floor where she was head nurse. She found out that another student and I lived @ the YWCA and we took the bus to get there. For three months she would pick us up @ the end of the Exchange St. bridge as she came up through from Conklin. She had another staff nurse who lived in Conklin that rode with her. She always said well this way I know my staff will be there to work. Mrs. Rockwell was a wonderful person and always made others know that she was there for them. I never seen her again but knew she would live a long and fun life as she was that kind of woman. May you relive the wonderful memories that she gave to others and for all of you.

Jean, Chris, Tom and Liz - We were so sad to have a call from Honey Carpenter in Great Bend, Pa. to advise of the death of Aunt Jeanne. What wonderful memories our family has of visits to Conklin and Binghamton to visit with her after moving to Florida. We always had such a wonderful time with her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

Jeanne, Chris, Katie and Kristen - Sending our thoughts and prayers to you today as you memorialize your mother and grandmother. We will be there at St. Thaddeus with you in spirit. We will miss our Granny, but the sad void we feel now will no doubt fill up with fond memories as the days pass... and we will think of her with happiness in our hearts instead of sorrow. We pray you will do the same. Love, Teresa and Bill

My deepest sympathy to the Rockwell family. As a new graduate of C.S. Wilson Memorial Hospital in 1973, I requested to be placed on NT3 so I could work with one of the best nurses I ever met. Mrs. Rockwell was respected and looked up to as a terrific nurse. I learned a great deal from her, and always had fond memories working as one of her staff nurses. She will be missed.
Sincerely
