Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia Irene Butler will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at 11 AM at George Funeral Homes, Southside Chapel, 3175 Whiskey Rd., Aiken, SC, with Pastor Gary Mathis officiating. Pallbearers will be Bobby Seabolt, Robert Taylor, Butch Fields, Marty Brittain, Tim Gray, and Chad Fields. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens, Graniteville, SC. The family will receive friends Monday, December 22, 2003 from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Butler, 84, of New Ellenton, SC, wife of the late Joseph Morgan Butler, Jr., died Saturday, night, December 20, 2003 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born and raised in Bloomingrose, WV, a daughter of the late Clyde Ernest and Bessie Pearl Backus Green, she had was a homemaker, had previously been a hairdresser and ran the Toot N, Tell?em in the 1950?s on Whiskey Rd. Daughters, Patricia B. and her husband, Robert Taylor, Augusta, GA and Bobbie Jean B. and her husband, Bobby Seabolt, Aiken, SC; brothers, Palmer, Cledith, and Ronald Green, all of OH and Donald Green, WV; sisters, Nina Papp, OH, Wanda White and Lois Atkins, both of WV and Leota Strong, FL; grandchildren, Candy S. Butch Fields, New Ellenton, SC, Lee S. Marty Brittain, New Ellenton, SC, and Andrea T. Tim Gray, Augusta, GA; and great-grandchildren, Chad, Amanda, and Ashley Fields, New Ellenton, SC and Joseph and Courteney Gray, Augusta, GA, survive.
