Graveside services for Ruby Mundy Owens, 90, of Aiken, will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, November 24, 2014 at Aiken Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 p.m. prior to the service at GEORGE FUNERAL HOME. Pallbearers will be Andy Carswell, Jay Cox, Jeff Hawkins, Race Clark, Dean Mundy and Donnie Webb. Born in Aiken, Mrs. Owens was a daughter of the late Mason and Minnie Mundy. She was a member of Shaws Fork Baptist Church. She was retired from the Graniteville Company. Mrs. Owens was preceded in death by brothrs Sammy Wilson Mundy and Julian Earl Mundy. Survivors include a son, James Webb of Aiken and 4 grandchildren, Emily Rose Webb, Deanna Paige Webb, Cameron Christopher Clark and Christopher Patrick Cunning all of Aiken; a sister-in-law, Mageleen Mundy and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express great gratitude to Agape Hospice. Especially Joy Lynn and Alfrieda, that provided such good care and love.
