AIKEN, SC- Mr. Thomas Lenward Fox, age 83, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 surrounded by his loving family at Harbor Chase of Aiken. Mr. Fox was born June 14, 1932 to the late Ernest A. Fox and Corrie J. Fox. Mr. Fox was a life-long resident of Aiken County and retired after thirty years with the SC Dept. of Transportation. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church where he served on the property committee. He was a lifetime Mason (Hampton Lodge #134) and enjoyed farming, fishing, and hunting. In addition to his parents, Mr. Fox was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Sally B. Fox; and a son, Thomas A. Fox. He is survived by five sons and a daughter-in-law, Debbie Fox; Michael L. Fox (Martina), Chapin, SC, Steven R. Fox (Cheryl), Kenneth J. Fox, Joey B. Fox (Lisa), and Keith B. Fox (Betsy), all of Aiken, SC; eight grandchildren, Jason Fox, Marlena Fox, Sallie Jane Fox-King, Amy Burk, Eric Fox, Adam Fox, Ashlee Thomas, and Dawn Johnson; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. The Reverend Christi Pursey will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
