Funeral services for Mrs. Sue Chaffin Taylor will be held Monday, July 26, 2004 at 6:00pm at Grace Brethren Church with Rev. Steve Taylor and Rev. Don Soule officiating. George Funeral Homes Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Taylor, 75, of Aiken, died Thursday at Mattie C. Hall Health Care Center. A daughter of the late Calvin and Addie Jane Black Chaffin, she was born in Guin, AL and had lived in Margate, FL before coming to Aiken earlier this month. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and had been a member of Grace Brethren Church and Fellowship, North Lauderdale, FL. She is survived by her husband, Gwin Wade Taylor, Aiken, four sons; Rev. Steve Taylor, Aiken, Douglas Taylor, Sunrise, FL, Michael Taylor, Winona Lake, IN and Gregory Taylor, Margate, FL, two brothers; George Chaffin, Hoover, Alabama, Fred Chaffin, Lakeland, FL and two sisters; Jo Ann Holle Hueytown, AL and Mary Segers, Cullman, AL. Mrs. Taylor is also survived by nine grandchildren and fifteen Great grandchildren.
