Dear Sue, Anne, Mary, Kenny, Jane, David, and Mike, I will always remember the good times we shared as kids and the time your Mom took up with all of you and with me as well. I can remember her teaching Kenny and me to read while sitting in the back yard swing. The "kid wash" at the Car Wash after a day trip to the beach. She made being a good parent look so easy - and with a full time job & 7 kids. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Robbie

Frances was a sweet and wonderful person. We would see her at Daily Mass when she was able to go. This saying appears appropiate for her:
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "come to me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

James Alan, Debbie and Family: I am so sorry to learn of the death of Frances. I last saw her, Aunt Mary and Bill in 1991 but we have stayed in touch over the years and she was always so upbeat and positive. I have wonderful pictures of the time we shared together that I will always treasure. I will miss her cards, her calls and just knowing she was there. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers today and I mourn with you.

David, Mary, Mike, Ann, and Family,
We are so sorry to hear the news of your mom. She was a fine lady with such a gift for making people smile. We will never forget her kindness in taking care of our babies in the hospital. She would slip back in my room during the night to reassure me that my boys were fine when they were too sick to leave the nursery. She was such a blessing with her constant upbeat attitude in so many situations. We know that she raised some awesome kids as we had the pleasure of working with so many of you with Boy Scouts. God bless all of you.

Dear Jane and Mary and family:
I am sad to hear this. You all are heavy on my heart and foremost in my prayers. Frances was wonderful and kind. I truly have received the Lord's blessing to have known her and to have met you. You must know how much I looked to your mom for strength and laughter. It was a dismal year of Thursdays, but together we certainly made the best of it.
I am so sorry for your great loss.

I wish to extend a warm thank you to all that have reached out to my family in the past few days & continue to do so as we mourn the passing of Mom, as well as, rejoice the life she lived. My Sisters & Brothers have heard from so many that knew our Mom.
She came to us as Daughter, Granddaughter, Frances, Miriam & Sister. Not too much later she became known as Friend, Neighbor, Classmate & Miss Hyslop. As a young lady, she made a decision to become Nurse Hyslop & Nurse Frances. Around this time, our Dad entered into her life & a short while afterwards she was known as Mrs. Brown, Sister-in-law, Aunt Francis, Nurse Brown, & eventually Mom & later Ma-Maw. To some she would also be known as Coach & Troop Leader.
We are deeply grateful for all that Mom was to us & to what she was to all those who knew her. Her smile, infectious laughter, caring hand & love will always be in our memories.
With deep gratitude I thank you all,
David

Dear Jane and Family, Ms. Brown was such a great joy and inspiration to me from childhood to being her supervisor and colleague at ARMC in the early 90's. I will always remember her words of wisdom and her "can do" spirit. She could always work magic when things got rough. She loved giving and being a registered nurse. I will miss her dearly. Thank you for sharing her and taking such good care of her and Mr. Bill. Prayers are with you, Sincerely, Pamela Cook

Debbie and family, I hadn't seen Frances in probably 20 years until I visited her in the nursing home in August. She was eating dinner in the dining room. I walked up to her, and she said, "Linda, what are you doing here?" She didn't skip a beat in remembering who I was. We chatted for about an hour. It was wonderful to see her again. I have such fond memories of Frances, Bill and ALL the kids. I remember there was always laundry that needed to be done back then. I remember the picnic table in the kitchen. Bill was working full time at the plant and Frances midnights at HCA. Wonderful memories of the Brown and Hyslop family. Love to all of you. She is in heaven now with her family smiling down at you all. My deepest condolences to you all. Love, Linda
