Mrs. Phyllis Marie Johnson, 52, of Windsor, died Sunday at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8pm at George Funeral Homes Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken. A vigil service will be held at 6:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial and subsequent interment will take place in Bakersfield, CA next Tuesday. A daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth Filoteo, Mrs. Johnson was born in Bakersfield, CA and had lived in Lowville, NY before moving to Windsor in 1996. She had worked as a paralegal and she enjoyed needlework, gardening and reading. In addition to her parents, she is pre-deceased by a sister, Theresa Filoteo Lopez and a brother, Edward Bustamante. Phyllis is survived by her husband; Jeffrey Brock, Windsor, a son, Timothy Johnson, Modesto, CA, a daughter; Barbara Ann Johnson, Modesto, CA a step daughter, Sunny Brock, Louisvile, GA, three brothers; Raymond Filoteo, Bakersfield, CA, Henry Filoteo, Sr., Oakland, CA and Joseph Filoteo, Mesa, AZ, three sisters; Susan Filoteo, Bakersfield, CA, Sylvia Filoteo Barnett, Aiken, SC and Patricia Carpenter, Tustin, CA. She is also survived by one grandson, Dustin Johnson. Additional service information will be posted as it becomes available.
