I consider myself blessed to have had my Grandmother in my life for 40 years and that my children were able to know their great grandmother. We will miss her.
It was a joy for me to know Martha during our time together here at Agape Reitirement Community. I enjoyed our bridge games. She was an excellent player. Martha will be missed by all of us here at Agape.

Mrs. Ellis was a beloved teacher. I turn 51 next month and still can close my eyes and vividly see her teaching and hear her voice as she inspired and worked and loved us fourth graders at Aiken Elementary. I have a PhD from Columbia University and am a university professor and department chair in large part because of her inspiration as a teacher.

What a wonderful lady. I am thankful I had the opportunity of knowing her. I enjoyed sharing many lunches and other outings with Martha, Nell and Ruth. She will be missed!
Mrs. Ellis always modeled joy, strength, and character as my teacher and principal when I attended Aiken Elementary in the 60\'s. My condolences to her family.
Although I had not met Aunt Martha in person, her spirit has touched me gently through her niece and my friend Debby Wright.
