Ridge Spring, SC-Funeral services for Mr. Wallace H. Mundy will be held Thursday, June 6, 2002 at 11 am at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Ridge Spring, SC, with Rev. Charles Yoho officiating. Members of the Men?s Sunday school Class are requested to serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 5, 2002 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Memorials in memory of Mr. Mundy may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 164 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Ridge Spring, SC. Mr. Mundy, 76, of Ridge Spring, SC, died Monday, night, June 3, 2002 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born in Windsor, SC, a son of the late Ollie Odell Mundy and the late Mae Cushman Mundy, he had lived in Aiken for most of his life before moving to Ridge Spring, SC, fifteen years ago, where he was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Mr. Mundy proudly served his country in The United States Navy during World War II and retired after twenty years of service from Owens-Corning Fiberglass. Daughters, Vicki Hair, Aiken, SC, Elaine Fulmer, Ridge Spring, SC, and Geri Mundy, Ridge Spring, SC; brothers, Glenn Mundy, Belvedere, SC, Rudolph D. Mundy, Aiken, SC, and Don Mundy, Aiken, SC; grandchildren, Tonya Garrett, Tammy Groomes, Robert Mundy, Crystal Morris, and Gina Fulmer; and eight great-grandchildren survive Mr. Mundy.
