We always waved at each other in the neighborhood and at Publix..unfortunately that was our friendship. Always remember "old soldiers never die, they just fade away." God speed.

September 1'st I lost my father, my best friend, my hero. September 3rd we all said goodbye to the greatest man that ever lived. My dad was all that you could ask for in a man, a husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Although his time on earth is over, his spirit will live forever in our hearts. He is with his Mom, Dad, sister and all of his relatives and friends that have gone before him. No more knee or back pain and his memory has returned. I never imagined writing this so soon but in life I knew this day would come. You are never prepared for the event and it was dad who told me son I will not live forever on earth- I guess I never wanted to believe that.
My dad was everything to this family. No problems too big or small. No plumbing issue he could not fix or any others for that matter. He had a great love for my mother always there on a moments notice to take care of her. His children and grandchildren were so blessed to have him. My dad never knew a stranger. The man could talk to anyone and instantly he had another new friend. He touched so many lives and those who knew him were blessed to call him a friend.
My father. My hero. I will always love you daddy. We will take care of mom here so don't you worry. I know that you are patiently waiting for her to be by your side again. Walk slowly.
Love Craig

Where do you start with someone as loved, intelligent, and caring as Jack? Your kind heart, witty conversation, and larger than life personality made every day we worked together better.
I could always count on you to make me laugh. You had an incredible ability to make anyone around you smile with a joke or a little lighthearted teasing. You were truly a friend to everyone and a hard worker.
I appreciate the time we shared as friends and coworkers. You were delightful, entertaining, and genuinely cared about my happiness. The quality of my day could always be improved with a simple, "Heather... Smile! You're on Candid Camera!" You'd let me vent on particularly bad days. You'd joke with my husband and tell him he better treat me right. Other times you told him he better keep an eye on me because I was causing trouble. I enjoyed hearing about your plumbing business and when you told me about your family, it was obvious how proud you were of them and how much they meant to you.
I'll always remember you and my life is greater for having called you my friend.
While your passing has left an emptiness in my life, I know you'd want me to fill it with happiness instead of sadness.
So, from all the ladies and gentlemen, hobos and tramps, cross-eyed mosquitoes, and bow-legged ants, and everyone else whose lives you've touched, thank you for everything. You will be truly missed and forever loved.
