A memorial service for Muriel Webster McCarroll will be held on Saturday October 4, 2003 at 4pm at New Covenant Presbyterian Church with Rev. Wesley Holland officiating. Interment at Southlawn Cemetery will be private. Memorial donations, in her memory, may be directed to New Covenant Presbyterian Church Missions 526 Hitchcock Parkway, Aiken, SC 29801. George Funeral Homes Historic Downtown Chapel 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken is in charge of arrangements. Born in Mishawaka, IN, she was the daughter of the late Emmett S. and Edith Moon Webster. She had lived in Jacksonville, FL before moving to Aiken in 1988. She was a graduate of Rockford College, Rockford, IL and Drexel Institute, Philadelphia, PA. Mrs. McCarroll was a former librarian, homemaker and a member of New Covenant Presbyterian Church. She is the widow of Paul J. McCarroll and is survived by three daughters; Bonnie Mrs. Elmer Wilhite, Aiken, Candy Mrs. Dan Tedrick, Raleigh, NC and Terrie Mrs. Ray Parker, Houston, TX. She also is survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
