i remember meeting "Pop" a few years ago and even though i only met him once i remember him being very friendly, welcoming and kind to me. I especially remember him showing me pictures of him in the army when i visited his farm in aiken. My deepest condolonces to the whalen family.

Just to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during tyour time of grief.
I know you will miss your Dad. My Mom passed away in 2000 and my Dad is still with us at age 89.
We each only have one set of parents and should treasure them forever. They gave so much for all of us.
Wish I could be there with you but I can't. Maybe this summer we can hook up again. I look forward to it.

Robert I am so sorry for your loss! I know there are no words I can say to take your pain away. If there were I would say them.
Please know you are in my prayers and that all pain gets easier to bear over time. Time is a great healer and we just have to take one day at a time.
