Obituary of Rev. Ramon Eugene Ergle

     Rev. Ramon Eugene Ergle, 82, beloved husband of Joyce Haile Ergle passed away peacefully at his residence Monday morning, September 3, 2018 following an extended illness.

     Born in Aiken County on December 26, 1935 he was the son of the late John B. & Maggie Jordan Ergle. Rev. Ergle was a graduate of North Greenville College, Furman University and Southeastern Theological Seminary in Wake Forrest, N.C. Rev. Ergle had pastored full time and bi-vocational churches for over 50 years in South Carolina & North Carolina. He loved preaching, camping, fishing & propping. Rev. Ergle was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church.

    Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters and their spouses: Ramona E. (Jamie) Bertram of Dillon, S.C. and Stephanie E. (Chris) Krebs of Aiken; a brother, Steve. C. (Jane) Ergle of Aiken, and one grandson, Channing T. Ergle of Dillon.

    Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 4:00p.m. in Aiken Memorial Gardens with Dr. Chris Masters officiating.

    The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, September 5, 2018 at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00p.m. 

    Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
